piano lessons
5 years and older
The piano lesson curriculum is based on the age and level of the student. Instruction materials and books through publishers such as Faber, Hal Leornard, Alfred and The Royal Conservatory of Music are used. These materials provide performance pieces, theory, and ear training.
Classical music is emphasized for the begining pianist. Piano students are given patient instruction and confidence building through every learned piece.
Students are also encouraged to learn favorite songs in their preferred genre.

voice lessons
8 years and older
The voice lesson curriculum is customized to the students voice and preferred musical genre. I provide students with specific exercises in mp3 format so they can practice at anytime. Additional information in PDF format may also be given.
My coaching techniques include beginning, intermediate and advanced techniques as well as troubleshooting songs to make vocal adjustments which enhance their performance. Not only are techniques shared but also tips on how to interpret the lyrics and phrasing. I assist the student to develop a repertoire of 10 to 30 songs they can be proud of in genres of their choice like Pop, R&B, Rock, Jazz …
